After subscribing to McSweeny's Quarterly Concern for two years, I was very excited to add this to my collection. I was not disappointed with the book. This is a great collection of fun, off beat stories that are fun to read.

I don't know why but this Deluxe Edition which comes with extra content and originally sold for $55 is only $13. I love it I got the The Best of McSweeney's and a great comics section and a Stephen King story as pamphlet in pretty box, etc. I don't know why it's bargain priced.The Best of McSweeney's book by itself costs $35 and outsells it.This is the premier literary magazine of the past decades with the best of today's authors.

This is a very interesting and nicely packaged collection of the best of what was published in the McSweeney's Journal.

Stan and Jan Berenstain were already successful cartoonists for magazines and adult humor books when they began writing children's books. My daughters (ages 3 and 6) are big fans of the Berenstain Bears. We have several of their books and they choose them often for their bedtime stories. They surprised me with this book for Father's Day this year and it was great. They were so excited to show it to me and we all read it together.It is a fun story about how the cubs want to do something nice for Papa, so they follow him around and find out all of the jobs that he does around the house. They make a bunch of gift certificates so that Papa can trade them in for a break from his chores. They are so excited to give Papa the gift on Father's Day and can't wait to wake him up to show him. Papa is surprised too and is all to eager to cash in his new gift certificates. Papa gets a much needed rest (sort of) and ends up having a great day with his cubs.Overall, this was a great story to read with my girls. It was entertaining and had a fun message of taking care of dad. It made a great Father's Day gift for me. Highly Recommended!

LOVE all the Berenstain books! Especially this one which I gave to my grandsons for Valentine's gift...their mommy loved it too - brings back memories of HER Mom (that's me!) reading the Berenstain Bears series of books to her as a child! They are well written & adorably illustrated...Hope MY grandsons will read these to their kids one day!

This was a great purchase for Father’s Day. My toddler drew a picture in the front cover and I traced both kids’ hands on the inside of the back cover. My husband loved it!

Bit pricey for a small kids book but its expected. I am not much of a fan but my wife is so got it for her to bring back childhood memories and for her to read it to the kids.

My grand daughter loves these books so I bouhjt this one for her to give to her daddy.
